Strong performance at Le Mans: 7th place for Team Vector Sport at the 24h race

The three drivers Matthias Kaiser, Gabriel Aubry and Ryan Cullen achieve their best result of the season so far at Le Mans in the 2023 World Endurance Championship. Anyone who was in the Vector Sport pit box after the last lap of the legendary 24-hour race in Le Mans saw relieved faces all around. "With 7th place in the LMP2 class, we have more than achieved our goal of being in the top 10. We are very happy with the result," explains Matthias Kaiser.

In total, 62 vehicles started the race, 24 of them in the LMP2 category. Over a third of the teams did not make it to the finish line. This shows how demanding the racing conditions are for the team and the technology. Vector Sport also had to overcome some challenges during the race. Partly heavy rain made for extremely demanding conditions. A leak in the brake line led to an involuntary pit stop and a loss of over six minutes. "Under such extreme conditions, it becomes clear how well our team works together and that everyone knows what to do in a matter of seconds."

We congratulate our Head of Production and Technology at KAISER Premier in the USA and the entire Team Vector Sport on their 7th place in the LMP2 class and look forward to the next race - 6 Hours of Monza on July 9th.
